David Fischer I am not saying this without reconsideration (and yes I am aware that this has been released in 2009), but this is the filthiest shit I have heard since Black Curse. Excoriate's only album is death metal so gnarly, disgusting and abhorrent that the thought of rinsing out your mouth with concentrated sulphurous acid does not seem all that much worse. A Sepulchral Voice classic and a formidable, essential listen for those wishing for a gruesome death. An underground gem indeed! Favorite track: Demons Rush.

Metallurgical Fire This is a true classic. I love the drums on this album. Don’t pass up this underground gem of German death metal. Favorite track: Bestial Slaughter.

FANTASTICALLY RAW ... The drum sound is absolutely barbaric, yet the instruments and stunning vocals ... Götz from Rock Hard also knows that this is one of the best death metal bands to ever come out of Germany, so I strongly suggest you try to buy this album!!!
— Fenriz (Darkthrone)

Fuck progress, forget treatment, and let it fester!
— Todd de Palma, www.thelefthandpath.com

Yes, yes, and YES. If anyone can capture the raw, ferocious sound of old school death metal bands such as Asphyx and Possessed, it is Excoriate.
